Live Update Issues

Hi, I'm new to the forum.

So, for the past few weeks, I've been getting the message that my virus and spyware definitions are out-of-date, something that rarely happens as often as it has been lately. The past two instances, I've been able to completely install all Live updates, but yesterday it has failed to complete several times. By the time it begins to install the updates, the downloads have eaten so much of my disk space that one update isn't completed.  This morning, I had some extra disk space, but because it attempted to install all six updates again, the last one couldn't be completed. Even when I try to install that last one, there's not enough disk space to complete the task. It's really annoying to have to remove programs from my computer and even then, it doesn't install the last update.

I tried to run the Intelligent Updater and my computer won't recognize it. I'm starting to think I should just purchase the new Norton 360 for this year.

I don't want to have any virus issues, but I really don't know what to do about this.

Any suggestions would be very much appreciated.

Thank you.

Re: Live Update Issues

What is your operating system? How much RAM is installed? What is your hard disk situation full/free?

If your subscription is current the upgrade/update to the current version is free.

Re: Live Update Issues

In addition to dickevans' questions, can you please verify your system time, date and time zone are correct?
