Live UpDate unsuccessful process updates Red cross check!!!!

Hey there my friends!!

I have updated to Norton 2010 , Am very happy with it, but when I run my Live Update sometimes I would be getting a red cross check mark to process updates saying that it was unsuccessful. Sometimes everything is good and all my updates secure but there are times that I get this anboying red check mark next to process updates.

Your help is greatly apprieciated .

Hi Sambo

You have just installed your Norton 2010 so it will take a number of liveupdate runs to get the product fully up to date and this sometimes throws up messages that some updates are not installed but is usually when a reboot of the system is required. Continue with liveupdates until you eventually get a message that there are no more updates required.

Hello Sambo

Our user names are above the rank that you are seeing. Below Sambo, it says Contributor. Above "worm" you will see the user name mdturner. I know you are new to the Forum, so just pointing something out to you. Below our names, is the rank we have achieved so far. Just some information for you. Please don't be offended by me pointing that out to you. Thanks.

I know I had so much of a chuckle over it I could not resist sending mdturner a PM and calling him a worm myself!

And how's this for funny? When I first scanned the list of forum topics on this board and saw this one, from the title I thought there was something in there about the Red Cross!

Ok, that was corny. I admit it!
