Lock meaningless!

Hello!

When I´m trying to access to these sites :

-> www.bondifm.com.au

-> memoshoa.pt

This non sense message appear:

"Web Attack: Exploit Toolkit Website 3",and the access is denied.What is happen???

Norton Safe Web report no problems with these web sites,so this is a fake positive.

Sometimes gives the impression that the norton blocks things that should not and misses real Malware...

Re: Lock meaningless!

Hi,

False positives happen as do infections while protected by a security product.

To help the team improve the product please submit the false positives you discover here

https://submit.symantec.com/false_positive/

Please be aware that no single security product is going to protect you 100% of the time from 100% of the thousands of threats that are released daily. An on demand scanner, one without a realtime feature, is a recommended addition to your tool kit. There are several free ones that are Norton cmpatible.

or
https://submit.symantec.com/antifraud/phish.cgi

is the place to submit places where you have found innfections

Stay well and surf safe

Re: Lock meaningless!

These are not false positives.  Sucuri reports finding known JavaScript malware on both sites when they are tested in real time.  Norton Safe Web site ratings are based on previous site testing, rather than real time monitoring, and so do not always reflect the current status of a site, which may have been compromised since it was last tested.  Norton Intrusion Prevention has detected the malicious exploit kits on each website, based on attack signatures, and has rightfully blocked access to both sites.  Norton has done its job correctly, the sites are dangerous.
