locked out of my password vault

I tried to login on my password vault using my regular password.  It tells me it is wrong.  I tried to change the password and now I am locked out.  What is going on?  Do I have to stop using it and use System Mechanic password instead.  They pictures are hard for me to see.

If you used the reset password function, rather than the password change (which requires you know the old password), that will have reset your vault, erasing all your logins. If this is what happened, there is nothing you can do to restore the original contents.

What you may be able to do is look for a backup of your vault in your Documents folder. Look in Windows Explorer > Documents, for a folder called Norton Password Manager Backups. If that is there, look inside for a folder with your email address. In that folder will be the backups of your vault.  If you do see those files, you will be able to restore the contents to the new vault you would have created when you reset the password. Hi everybody. I have the same issue. I had to change both my laptop and cellphone. And when I try to open my password manager/vault, I get the wrong password message. But there is no reset option. What can I do to solve this? My laptop has windows 10 and my cellphone is an android samsung galaxy a50. Any help would be appreciated. Resetting the password for my Norton account was no problem at all

On each device,  when you open the Norton Password Manager login page, look for a link to sign out of your Norton Account. Click on that and then restart your computer and then try signing in again. You will have to log into your Norton Account first, and then sign into the vault.

Things happen. Export/Backup your Norton Password Manager data.
