Log In Issues

I have a new account and have set up my children's computer with onlinefamily.norton.  I set it up to block content and everything appears to be working correctly.  I have received a couple of email messages about them going to prohibited sites with a link to see details.  However, when I try to log in, I am unable to log in using the email address and password I had set up.  When I go to the link that says "Forgot your password?", it says "The email address provided is not associated with a Norton account. Please try again."  But this is the email address I used, because I'm receiving my alerts from onlinefamily.norton at that address.  Do you know how I can get this resolved?  I want to log in and update my settings.

Hi,

 

I guess the password ur entering might be incorrect. You can reset the password by logging on to www.mynortonaccount.com.

 

Please follow the below steps to reset ur password.

 

1. Log on to www.mynortonaccount.com

2. Click on Forgot your password?  option under sign into your Norton account.

3. Enter your email address and click on continue.

 

A temporary password will be emailed to you. Kindly used the password to reset the same.

 

Note: For security reasons, the temporary password is only valid for a limited time.

If you are still experiencing this issue, please send me a private message containing your email address(the one you used when signing up with OFN) and reference thread # 548.  To send the Private Message, just click on my ID, JasonC, to the left and then select 'Send this user a private message'.

Thank you for providing your email address.  I have confirmed that the account for that address was initially created at https://www.mynortonaccount.com.  I have already generated an email that has been sent to the address you provided that contains a temporary password.  Please use your email address and the temporary password to access your account at https://www.mynortonaccount.com.  After you have logged in, please change your password.  Now, simply wait a few minutes and using the new password, you will be able to access your account at https://onlinefamily.norton.com.
