Logging of Days activity

both my kids devices were on and used for about 2 hours today but on the "Manage Activity" page it shows "zero" hours activity for the day (under the "time" category). How can we fix this  ?

Also, theyve been using the devices for several weeks now and yet when i look at activity over "all time" - there are only two entries (two alerts that daily time limit was reached).

Is it not possible to track what apps were used ? i.e. how much time was spent on spotify and how much time was spent on a game ?

Re: Logging of Days activity

Hi Itchest,

If you try to access a forbidden website as the child, does the website get blocked?

Can you please uninstall/reinstall Norton Family on the devices to see if that helps?

The premier version of Norton Family allows parent to allow or block apps on Android devices.  The program currently doesn't track time spent on a game.  I'll report your inquiry and request to the team for their consideration.

Thanks

Re: Logging of Days activity

Hello - I have not tried that but for sure the app is successfully blocking the specified profiles from going beyond their preassigned time limits - I think its working as intended. I understand now that it seems to take a day before you can see a log of time that was spent - that combined with the lack of detailed information about which apps are being used is a key missing ingredient. However, i am having issues in general with the process of using restricted user profiles on an android device since it makes managing the kids tablet time a bit convoluted.

Re: Logging of Days activity

Hi ltchest,

Norton Family normally doesn't take a day to see the logs.  Norton Family servers allow a certain amount of logs per day. If it exceeds the remaining logs will get pushed to the next day.

Thanks
