IS Login Prompt and Logging In Bars: Annoying!

The two notification bars that appear at the top of web pages are very annoying and make navigating and clicking on links awkward.

When my Identity Safe vault is closed (NIS 21.1.0.18, W8.1, IE11) the log in prompt often opens despite the Settings box being unchecked.  I have to go back and forth between enabling and disabling the option and opening and closing the vault for it to keep the setting a while.  I know this topic has been mentioned before, but I repeat it to keep the issue open.

When the vault is open and I click on a login, the 'logging in' bar often persists long enough to make navigating or using links in the page difficult.  Also, it seems the pages would load faster without that added process.  I realize the bar's possible utility is to be able to cancel a login, but that need is nearly nonexistant.

I vote for completely eliminating both bars, or having the option to effectively turn both off.

Re: IS Login Prompt and Logging In Bars: Annoying!

FWIW, You seem to have the same prompting-bar "bug" that many (and I'd conjecture, the majority) have, with the exception that yours is the less encountered "constantly prompting" variant - where as mine (and the majorities) is the much more commonly encountered "refuses to prompt" version of the "bug".

I started a thread about this "bug" back at the end of October of last year, which is located here:

http://community.norton.com/t5/Norton-Toolbar-Norton-Identity/NIS-v21-NTB-fails-to-prompt-for-vault-PW/td-p/1043613

And if you take a few moments to scan through it, you'll find that the problem has been both acknowledged by Norton (about mid-last-November), and supposedly fixed by Norton (just recently) - said correction to be included within an "as yet" to be released, but supposedly forthcoming update...

Kind regards,

John

Thanks, John- I was aware of the previous posts, and am hoping when your 'bug' is finally fixed they'll incorporate my little suggestion.
