PIN stopped working after 1 year for some unknown reason. The password I remember is not working now. Help!
The call center in India, or wherever it is, told me that I'm out of luck if I cant come up with the password-that I'll have to wipe the vault and start over.
Is there any other way I can prove my identity, get a new password, and save my vault?

Did you ever setup vault unlock on your mobile device? That is the only other way to unlock the vault.
Norton does not store your password and therefore cannot help you. You must delete the existing vault and create a new one.

You may then use your vault to store your logins, passwords and login URL’s for other sites you access and use.

Note: If you previously set up Mobile Unlock feature for your vault...you may be able to use that to unlock your vault.
Set up Mobile Unlock for Norton Password Manager
The Mobile Unlock feature lets you unlock your Password Manager vault using a desktop browser by approving a notification on your mobile device. Each time you launch your desktop browser with the Norton Password Manager extension installed, a vault unlock request notification is automatically sent to your registered mobile device. If you have forgotten your vault password, you can reset it from your Norton Password Manager mobile app. To know more on how to reset the vault password, see Reset vault password of Norton Password Manager from your mobile device

If you want to delete your vault. Please try "fake different password 3 times".
for example: 123 + Enter, 456 + Enter, 789 + Enter
Note: When you delete a vault, all of the Password Manager data that are stored in the vault is permanently removed. If you think that you may use your vault data at a later time, do not delete your vault.

Norton Password Manager cloud vault does not require Norton product subscription.
Norton account does not require Norton product subscription.
You may create one cloud vault for each Norton account.
You may create new Norton account/s for new vault/s.
