MacBook backup using Norton Security - Not working.

I just installed Norton Security in a MacBook, but the BACKUP options are not available like when I installed in a PC. Do I need to do some kind of upgrade or buy Norton for Macintosh?

Hello Jorge. What version MAC OS do you have and what Norton product is installed? These are the Norton products that are compatible and the OS version. This article doesn't show backup for MAC on NS either. Norton Security Premium DOES include backup for MAC here.

Re: MacBook backup using Norton Security - Not working.

I downloaded the file, installed it. No change. Still fails to create an icon for download.

ONLY DOES: Security, Scan, Live Update, Advanced, and Clean.

Run after downloading and also after rebooting. Same behavior.

Re: MacBook backup using Norton Security - Not working.

Jorge My next suggestion would be to remove all the Norton components following this article. Reboot the system and reinstall your product directly from your Norton account. Let us know how things go.
