on the main control panel page it shows GMT time off to the right at the bottom. Is there a way to make it local time

I just finished downloading new update for my Norton 360.  on the main control panel page it shows GMT time off to the right at the bottom.  Is there a way to make it local time.  I couldn't see any link for accomplishing this setting. This is a new addition that come with the download.  Also, I have delayed in updating to IE 9.  I have heard there are a couple of small issues experienced by others who have downloaded 9 not relevant to anyone using Norton.  I see when getting to the website here that Norton is causing problems with a conflict with IE9.  Where will I find a post indicating it is fixed.  Kim Kamando says to get IE 9.  As the saying goes, "haste makes waste" in ending up with frustration and grief when things don't work.  So I'm never in a hurry to update.  Thank you in advance.

On my experience of IE9 I would wait a while. I don't know if it was just a bad install ,but it knocked out Norton 360 from my Vista start button and notification area ,blacked out the Norton sidebar icon, the sidebar calendar went blank, and the RSS feeds stopped working etc etc.

Luckily everything went back to working properly again when I went back to IE8.

Hi imgrateful_1,

The time shown on the the main Norton window is part of the activity map which is meant to show the distribution of threats around the world over the past several hours.  I don't believe you can set it to local time.

Agreed, that time cannot be set/reset by the user. It is tied to the information being displayed and available when you dig deeper. It will update when you run LU and new information is downloaded for that feature.
