Main Norton screen went RED - SONAR

Shortly after I became a member my main Norton Screen went RED on one occasion and I was uncertain what to do so I ran a full scan as I had not looked at the USER GUIDE at this point. I would like to find the date and time of this occasion but am unable to turn up any of this information such as a log of where this might have been recorded

Re: Main Norton screen went RED - SONAR

From the main Norton screen, click on Security, and then History. That will show events that Norton has recorded.

Thank you for your suggestion. It doesn't provide the information I am after. I have sent a report to Tony Weiss and asked that he forward a copy to you. How can I get to Tony's comment spot so I can forward the sdbz file I generated. I have tried to get back to the MESSAGES inbox but can't get to it. It seems every time I come on this site the navigation has changed slightly which is disconcerting and a bit annoying Regards

Re: Main Norton screen went RED - SONAR

I thought you were asking where you could find information on when a scan had been run. That information is in the History that I posted about above. You can get specific information from that page by making selections in the drop down list near the top. Choose the Scan Results to see what you were asking about in your first post.

If you are looking for the PMs, Personal Messages between you and Tony, look at the top right of the forum page and click on Inbox. From there you should be able to find any messages from Tony.

FYI. There is no reason Tony would forward any logs to me. I am not an employee. I am just a user like you who volunteers my time to try to help users from my experience with the Norton products.

Re: Main Norton screen went RED - SONAR

When I reinstalled Norton, I had the same issue with Sonar being disabled.

I can't remember what I did to check this, but it seemed to re-enable itself.

Nothing shows in History.

I restarted and all has been ok, since.

Re: Main Norton screen went RED - SONAR

Hello,

More recently I've noticed that upon completion of the past few updates/patches the SONAR protection and norton product tamper

protection get turned off. Afterwards the product realises there is an issue and gives the option for a fix. This tends to turn the settings that

were turned off. Has anyone else noticed this and/or is this anything of concern?

Thanks.

Folks!! Version 22.10.0.85 has been released via Live Updates. Run updates and reboot whether asked to do so or not. Run updates once more to ensure you have all that are available. Recheck for your issues still being present. Hopefully your issues will be resolved. Cheers!!
