Member Images/Logos

Hi -

I can't sleep so I thought that I would bother you guys (and gals).  Is there any way that we could get a teensie-weensie bit more room for our 'pictures'?  I've tried everything I know to get a logo to fit these constraints.  It's such an odd shape ... maybe just a square ... a little bit more height.  It only makes sense ... to me anyway.

I see one Kudo for this idea - does anyone else have any thoughts about the avatar size?

Re: Member Images/Logos

I have no idea about the size.. perhaps something like the size we had on the previous platform? I had no avatar reseized over there.

Thanks.

I've found it harder to find images that look good with this aspect ratio.

Agree with Krusty. You're lucky to find any with the current aspect, so you have to crop, which is a pain................

Current aspect ratio is 268x136, so maybe it could be 268x268, or whatever size the forum specs will allow ?

268x268 square avatar sound good to everyone? Any objections?

I'll adapt to whatever, like I have already done.  Whatever the majority feel is best is OK by me.

What did we have with the Lithium platform anyway?

Re: Member Images/Logos

I like that this community's avatars are a bit different.

They inject a bit of personality -- pizazz, if you will -- that makes the Norton Community different than the other forums out there.

If, however, this uniqueness is making it difficult to conduct business, it should be changed.

Let's leave it as is for now. There doesn't seem to be a large contingent inconvenienced by it, and I'd rather use our development resources to fix issues and provide new functionality. I don't mind revisiting this later, but for now, we'll keep things as they are. Thanks.
