Mining stops when pc left for a long time

Hello, 

iv been trying the crypto mining out and I’ve noticed when my pc is left on with screen off it stops mining and says waiting for gpu to ideal so is this normal or is something wrong with it because I don’t want it on if it’s not working

is it possible you machine is going into sleep mode? while i believe it should not go to sleep if mining is running there are occasions where either a restart of your machine won't start the mining (you have to be logged in) or the miner crashes (more rare)
