MRT process on mac taking 90+% of CPU - cannot kill

Process MRT on mac - cannot delete and it uses 90+% CPU all the time. Full scan detected nothing.

fleonar I suspect that all your resources have kicked into high gear due to an infection. Have a look at this article:

Thanks, agree that it must be an infection of some kind, but doesn't Norton have a fix for this. I would prefer one of their products to others.

Malwarebytes is your best solution. It will pick up things Norton misses..such as non-destructive PUP programs and other malware.
