mrt.exe

this is a new one usually I see services.exe preparing to access the net with norton as the target but this time its windows/system32/mrt.exe with the same exact target.

I did some research on mrt.exe and I found it was for microsoft malicious software removal tool- I looked at the last time I did windows update and it is showing up in the logs at about the same exact time windows installed updates- Im sure tis is windows update thing but I just want to make sure

Re: mrt.exe

This is the legitimate malware removal tool by Microsoft, it si OK and quite useful.

You can find a log of what it did in the %windir%\debug\mrt.log location, where %windir% is the folder of your Windows installation.
