My Norton Anti-Virus has deactivated and unregistered a without me doing anything...

I was browsing websites today and a message popped up asking me to purchase Norton 360 (even though I'm registered and have nearly 200 days left to re-register).

I then clicked on my Norton 360 and it said I had to activate it. Rebooted my PC turned it back on to find the same issue. Logged into Norton Online, found that my product key had been deactivated.. Re-entered it again and it's back up and running..

Was I attacked by a Virus? Should I be concerned? Has anyone else had these issues?

Product is up-to-date with latest versions.

Where did you purchase your copy of N360?

Did you buy it from someone off ebay?  There have been reports of people selling used keys / or keys that have been activated by someone else.

It was a legitimate version that was purchased from Curries (Computer store) in the UK.

I've renewed the license online several times since.

That is odd!

I would carry on and not worry unless it happens again.  If it does, you could open N360 and click Support > Subscription Status and see if that corrects it.  If not, you may want to contact Customer Support and explain the situation to them as they are able to assist with account problems where we can't.

Best of luck!
