Mysecuresearch,net

Hi All

Does anyone have a safe solution fore removing mysecuresearch.net from Microsoft Edge?

A quick internet search shows this to be a browser hijacker. It must have been auto installed as part of another software package.

I would like to get rid of it but am not sure which tool to trust.

Do Norton have any tool I could use to remove this safely?

Thanks

Re: Mysecuresearch,net

Hello Eddo55

I would recommend a visit to one of the free malware removal sites. Stay with 1 of them until they say your computer is clean.

Please see this link for an up to date description of these sites plus the addition of a newly listed site formed by one of our successful malware remover users. The new site is listed first in this link.

Thanks.

Hi Floplot

many thanks for your response and advice. I will follow this thread.

I can't help being disappointed that Norton does not appear to support malware removal - or am I asking too much?

Thanks Again

Re: Mysecuresearch,net

Hello Eddo55.

I do sometimes use this software name'd Hijackthis: https:// sourceforge . net/projects/hjt/ I did also found a video about someone remove another browser hijacker. It can maybe be to a help?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=alQVnJqLz08

Before when I got one of this browser hijacker in my computer, I did reinstall the browser and was looking up all files in my computer that had the same name as the browser hijacker, and removed them. This did work for me. But it can be different for everyone. Hope this help a little bit.
