NAV requires restart on every boot -

I have an intel based mac mini with Mac OS X 10.5.8 with NAV 11.1.  Every time it starts, Live Update informs me that NAV has downloaded an update that requires restart.  It's a bit of an endless loop.

Any suggestions?

Re: NAV requires restart on every boot -

Sorry for the problems. To help us troubleshoot:

1. Download GatherSymantecInfo.zip from:
ftp://ftp.symantec.com/misc/tools/mactools/GatherSymantecInfo.zip
2. Expand GatherSymantecInfo.zip by double clicking on it.
3. In GatherSymantecInfo folder, double-click GatherSymantecInfo.command.
4. When prompted, enter your computer user password. If you don't see a prompt for your password, then you need to restart your computer--this is a bug in Snow Leopard that sometimes causes a blank Terminal window to appear.
5. When prompted for a subscription key, simply press return.
6. Post the SymantecInfo.txt file here on the forums. If you have problems posting it here, please contact me privately on the forums via private message with your e-mail address.

Re: NAV requires restart on every boot -

Did you try to attach the 3.9 mB raw text file. Is there any error message?
