Network credentials expired

Eighteen months ago my two computers networked ok sharing files from one of them to the other so I could work in either of two rooms.

Coming back to it the "Network Credentials" are rejected.

Any ideas, please ?

Re: Network credentials expired

Hello John Are you getting that notice from Core or your computer? Please post a screenshot of what you are seeing if you'd be so kind. Here is how: https://community.norton.com/en/forums/how-post-image-forums-0

Re: Network credentials expired

Hello again. The notification I see is from Windows Security rather than Core. Recheck your file and sharing settings. If you have a home group established recheck those settings as well.

Re: Network credentials expired

What happens when you re enter the credentials? Are they accepted? Do they stick next time you try to access the other computer?

Things happen. Export/Backup your Identity Safe data.

Re: Network credentials expired

Hello both,

I'm really grateful for any help I can get but in no time at all, whoosh stuff goes right overhead.

The screen shot is what happens when I enter the original credentials. That's all I can tell you. As for "Core", whoosh again I'm afraid. With the best will in the world I really don't know how or where to "re check my file and sharing settings etc". I'm just an ordinary bloke trying to get on with stuff. I must admit that the tech guy who set it all up for me has since died so I'm stuck I guess.

Anyway, thanks for trying.

Best wishes to all,

.John

Re: Network credentials expired

Hello John

This may sound a little silly, but you mentioned that you are a bloke. Are you someone who has moved to the United States? I am asking because at present, the CORE is only available in the United States. Please don't take this question in the wrong way.I don't think they would mail the CORE to an address outside of the US, so I have to assume that you are in the USA. I do have to double check.

Have a Good Night and

Thanks.
