The "New" Norton 360 and Beta Testing
I'm thoroughly confused about how Norton is conducting their beta testing these days and hope someone from Norton can provide insight.

A small group of users in the U.S. are being directed to test comprehensive plans on Norton.com. We’re looking forward to learning from them. Not everyone will have this opportunity since it’s a beta test. I have posted this information in the thread linked above. Thank you.
I assume this is the free upgrade that some Norton 360 users were recently offered via e-mail. There are currently multiple threads in this forum about Secure VPN failures bundled with this "new" Norton 360 and lack of support from Norton Customer Support and Norton employees - see Mr Y's 02-Feb-2019 comment in Norton 360 Premium II Upgrade Email for one example. No one from Norton has replied yet in beta tester JJGolf5343's Secure VPN - Inconsistent Does Not Turn On and other threads I've been monitoring on this same topic.
First question. How does this "new" Norton 360 being beta tested by select users differ from the "new" Norton 360 (i.e., N360 Standard / Deluxe / Select / Advantage / Ultimate Plus with Secure VPN, SafeCam, LifeLock, etc.) product that is already available for purchase at https://us.norton.com/norton-360-standard?
Secondly, I assumed the Norton EAP (Early Adopter Program) in the Norton Public Beta forum had been shut down, but when I checked today participants were discussing EAP Build 22.214.171.124 (released 09-Jan-2019) for Norton Security. Why isn't the "new" Norton 360 also being offered in the Norton EAP beta testing board where feedback can be closely monitored by Norton employees in a structured test environment?
