NIS 2012 - Multiple scans find more Tracking cookies.

Here's the deal.

Without any applications open.

I run a Full System Scan that picks up and resolves 37 Tracking Cookies.

Immediately after, I run a Quick System Scan that picks up and resolves 8 more. (Did it just for fun.)

How can this be?

Thanks,

Re: NIS 2012 - Multiple scans find more Tracking cookies.

I'd say that your 8 cookies are in a 'Not Detected' state:

You need to resolve this issue manually, otherwise these cookies will repeatedly turn up in every Quick Scan that you perform. Two solutions to this problem can be found in the thread below:

Hi elsewhere:

Thanks for the link!

Yep. It took care of the problem, but why should I have to do this at all?

NIS needs to do it's "housekeeping" better, in my opinion.

Cheers!
