NIS 9 Page Backlog of pending community watch Feedback

HI, I'm running Norton internet Security version 22.9.0.71 on windows 10, I've just checked Norton community watch History Log I have 9 pages of, now pending, going back this month none of which are going through even if just left for 24 hours or more

I also have a number of Norton error reports some classed as a High Severity, not sure if this has anything to do with this or not, but most seem too look almost the same going back a few months

image pt1 Top half of log  pt2 Bottom half  this is the latest error logged as a High Severity.

If Statistical Submissions are not going through, it does not cause any problem on your system. Any threats have been dealt with on your system.  It just has not been reported to Norton yet.

Your image shows you have Malwarebytes installed. Is it the full version? It is possible that it is detecting the Norton Community Watch function and interfering with it.

Other users here have both Norton and MBAM installed and they may be able to comment on this.

HI peter, I have only got the free version of MBAM Running other Statistical Submissions are going through, only this is the biggest backlog it's now 10 pages long most are normally done in a day, which makes me think something maybe broken somewhere, is there a way you can export all logs to the Norton team.

Re: NIS 9 Page Backlog of pending community watch Feedback

There are others here that have noticed the large number of entries lately. I too just checked my History and found many entries pending like you and the others.

Again, I would not worry. This kind of information is used, for example, to let the Download Intelligence know how many community members are using a specific download. It seems like Norton might have sent out a request for updated info to users. The volume may just take some time to clear.

BTW

I only check my History when answering users questions. There should be no need to look at it unless you are having problems with your Norton product. It usually just creates unnecessary stress unless you fully understand what is happening. Most entries are just logging entries for troubleshooting purposes.
