NIS running in Safari but not in Chrome

Hi there, I was wondering if anyone could help with this query/issue.

I have bought, downloaded and installed Norton Internet Security 5 for mac earlier today (27/12/13) using the safari browser and all is ok, theres a norton tool bar and when I search for things it displays the secure norton symbol if the site is recognised. However, when I switch to the chrome browser I can't see NIS anywahere, and it doesn't show in the settings>extensions sections like it did on my windows pc.

Is this normal? If i use Chrome is NIS still protecting me? or do I need to do something else for NIS to run in Chrome as wel as Safari.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks

I am using MacBook Pro Osx 10.9.1

Re: NIS running in Safari but not in Chrome

I've asked your post be moved to the Mac product board for a better chance of getting Mac users to help.

Things happen. Export/Backup your Norton Password Manager data.

Re: NIS running in Safari but not in Chrome

Hi BigC,

Unfortunately Norton Internet Security does not have Chrome browser support. Having said that however, your Machine is always protected from virus and threats from the Internet (regardless of the browser) when you have Norton Internet Security installed.

Thank you,

Harsha
