"NIS Update "Failed to Complete

For the last 5 days or so when ever I run Live Update I get all the updates but one. The summary says it is the NIS Engine and the status is "Failed to Complete". My current version is 22.9.1.12. I am using Windows 10. When I click the "Support" link nothing happens and when I click most links in the Help Center screen nothing happens. When I click "New Version Check" I get a window that says Norton can't open my default browser (Firefox), even if the browser is already open.

I have a laptop set up nearly identically to this computer and it doesn't have these problems.

Please use the Norton Removal Tool and remove the bad install. Please follow the directions. Then restart.

It seems like you got a bad install of the latest update. Use this link and try to install it.
