NIS09 does not detect a virus that many antivirus detects and stop

hello to everyone. Two days ago I sent to Symantec Security Response .exe file that is a malware, the virus creates thousands and thousands of entries in the Windows registry to completely paralyze the functioning of the PC. Does not replicate itself and infect programs, just write without stopping. NIS2009 and updated with the full heuristic not detect anything in the executable, but Kaspersky detects it some time ago:

Symantec needs to improve greatly the ability to detect and react to malwares with rare behavior. As if to some moderator or expert you are interested to continue the evaluation of the case, the tracking number is: #10193024

Hello Serekantum,

Detection for this has been added. The definitions should be pushed out shortly. Thanks!

Thanks Serekantum.

Even though it may not always seem so, we are interested in all malware. And you are correct on both counts - yes this is a particularly nasty piece of code given that it effectively renders the PC inoperable, and yes we do need to improve our detection speed and are continually striving to do so. Appreciate you bringing this to our attention via the forum, and please don't hesitate to do so again if the need arises.

Thank you for responding so quickly. I will continue sending to SSR suspicious files to be found on the Internet to help NIS is increasingly effective. If all of us are pulling in the same direction Symantec will get the number one in data protection.
