(NO JOKE) How to change my FIRST NAME in Profile?

So, while on painkillers (terrible pack pain) I tried to set-up NORTON account because there are some hinky things going with my laptop Norton software, yet I HAD NOT intended to include my FULL NAME for a profile. Every time I try to edit...it wont allow me to change my first name...frustrating!

I should be in Urgent Care (medical issue), yet I wanted to resolve this first...

I would indeed appreciate it if a kind person were to point out to me as to how I go about changing my first name (Profile).

R U wanting to change/edit your Norton Community Username?

click on your name -> Edit -> Username (change/edit) -> scroll down page -> Save

While on painkillers, and yet, still in screaming back pain...I overlooked PERSONAL INFORMATION TAB...thank for kindly  pointing it out to me...I kept hitting EDIT in order to change what it said under VIEW...with your help taken care of.

Thank You for the info why I was not getting the GREEN DOT W CHECK MARK while surfing Bing with Edge.

As I recall...

I was following instructions...promted...while online...to urgently innoculate EDGE with Norton, hence I did. It could be that the default was Microsoft Store.

With VERY intense back pain, which requires surgery, while on a LOT of pain killers I didn't pay that close attention!

Do I have to un-install what I already have (EDGE/Norton) or do I over right with Norton via Google Store?

Something funny happened along the way...

Opened EDGE Browser cut/pasted your URL for Chrome Store...

Even signed-in at Chrome Store, yet I cannot find the button to "click" to make it happen!

(the pain killers make me VERY drowsy)

You may remove (or turn off) Norton Safe Web from Microsoft store.
You may install (Add to Chrome) & test Norton Safe Web from Chrome store in Edge. 
They're discrete extension installs.

Thank You for your response and good advice!

At first glance, installing Chrome, in Edge seems easy, yet I have hit a snag...

"How to Install Google Chrome Extensions in Microsoft Edge"

I Clicked on...

Ended up at the desired website...

Then...

ON Bing/Edge clicked the three horizontal dots in the upper right corner of the browser to open the menu

Drop down menu lists extensions (between Apps and Microsoft Rewards)

Upon clicking on Extensions...

However...
I DON'T GET Enable the “Allow extensions from other stores” switch in the lower left-hand corner of the Extensions page that appears

What I get is...

Small pop-up that says, Extensions       ...

                                          (small gray box with ?) Norton Safe Web  (show in toolbar) ...

                                           Manage Extensions

                                             Open Microft Edge Add-ons

In other words NO "Extensions page that appears"

Imagine a very confused 81 year old man (prior to posting this reply...I tried out the above process 12 times...always ending in the same way)

I cannot seem to get to the Extension Page, bottom left, to Enable the “Allow extensions from other stores” switch 

"Good Grief! The Techno God hates me!"

Where am I going wrong?

I want to THANK YOU for ALL of YOUR good advice, and patience, which you have shared with me (including Norton Firewall).

I am baffled as to why I cannot seem to be able to merge Chrome with Edge so that Bing hyperlinks have a GREEN DOT W WHITE CHECK MARK next to them?

I have followed the instructions, yet they never lead ME to the Extension Webpage. The Techno God has cursed this 81 year old man!

I had no problem, sometime ago, merging Google with Norton ("easy as pie") so I don't know why EDGE/Microsoft wont work for me!

As I have used Google search engine for years (Norton SafeSearch)...I have gone back to using google (and abandoned EDGE/BING) with one change...

I am looking into WHY I keep getting less and less search results this year (2022), sometimes NO search results AT ALL, from google/Norton online compared to last your (filters?).

So, something interesting happened to my online google/Norton...

While putting in a keyword in the google search bar, hit enter, I received the message, "SafeSearch is turned off!" top of the search results page (above hyperlinks)

I didn't TURN OFF SAFE SEARCH...rather baffled, yet I figured out how to turn it back ON on my own (I may be an analog guy living in the digital age, but I still know a thing or two).

To the right of google ALL IMAGES VIDEO :MORE       TOOLS  (nut icon) settings

I Clicked on settings icon = Quick Settings...clicked "See All Settings"...under SafeSearch filter (check marked Turn On SafeSearch and hit SAVE at the bottom of the page)...and the notification went away.

Even with SafeSearch TURNED OFF...I still get GREEN DOT W WHITE CHECK MARK next to some of the google search results/hyperlinks!

I have, noticeably, more GREY DOTS, ORANGE DOTS, and even RED DOTS next to the hyperlinks with SafeSearch OFF, and yet I also still get GREEN DOTS?

So, my question to You...if you have the time and inclination...

Does this make any sense to you, and if so, are the GREEN DOTS w White check mark search results (hyperlink) still safe with SafeSearch turned OFF?

If someone should ask you whether-or-not you have done a good dead lately...you certainly have with providing a senior citizen with good advice, "THANK YOU!"

Norton Safe Web browser extension from Chrome store (installed/enabled in Edge) renders Safe Web search results annotations in Edge - Google/Yahoo/Bing search bar/engines.
