NORTON 360 DELETING MY PROGRAMS

I am wondering why Norton 360 sonar always deletes my programs that I create, every time I rebuilt my apps sonar whisks them off, I can not see the logic in this there should be an option, like what do you want to do with this file, yes I can restore from quarantine until I rebuild it then it is gone again, yes I can submit it to Symantec for analysis, but for some I would be doing that on a daily basis and not getting them to release stage.

It is some what annoying, maybe Symantec things we are all virus or malware writers, it is the only logic I can think if for this being automatic. in some case also i have excluded but as before when it is rebuilt it is on again.

Re: NORTON 360 DELETING MY PROGRAMS

Usually unknown or unidentified .exe files are treated like a security issue or malware. It can't know that the program is safe because It has no data about it, that is how most anti-virus software is built. I would recommend excluding the entire folder in which you compile your programs. Since you know they are safe, it won't cause any issues. If that still is an issue, I would recommend submitting a direct ticket to Norton support. Good luck!
