Norton 360 for Gamers slows the pc down during gaming and hampers performance. does not do what is advertised

I've noticed this too, game optimizer decreases FPS. Disabling Game Optimizer and using silent mode restores performance. Defeats the purpose of buying the gamer version and is a waste of money. Also noticed some game stuttering with Game Optimizer enabled, disabling windows game mode lessens it but does not completely remove it.

that is the same for me as well just as you described that what happens. i got the Norton 360 for gamers from amazon.co.uk for £16.99 so not much of a loss here for me. turned off auto renewal and remove my card as well. very poor for a big antivirus company like Norton. do not know who to try next as l have tried all the big name antivirus companies and some small ones too. will do more research in the meantime l use Microsoft defender
