Norton 360 on Mac Desktop blanks some Chrome chrome pages, says not connected to internet

Norton 360, 3 yr old iMac desktop with current Ventura: Since Norton was installed recently I get Chrome pages that take so long to load they time out. And I get a notice saying no internet connection when there plainly IS one. It'll even freeze the Mac and force me to reboot. That almost never happened before.  Does anyone know what to do?

Googled for help because I could find nothing helpful under help on Norton site but googled video instructions do not apply to Norton on Mac in 2023! If I look at settings there is nothing about firewall as one video said there would be. I have NEVER had problems like this in all the years I have had Norton on PC. It doesn't seem to work well on a Mac and it is not as user controllable as far as I can tell. Do others find the same thing?

For some reason this page on Chrome, will not let me subscribe to being notified of answers!!  I hope I  can find this post to see if there are answers. If I click subsribe I get 403 error.
