Norton 360 won't install on new MacBook Pro with Monterey

Norton 360 goes thru installation process; I restart computer; no Norton 360 anywhere. Followed "Download & Install...on Mac" instructions but on Step 7, describes an "allow" button in Security & Privacy window for "System software from application 'Norton 360' was blocked from loading". THIS BUTTON DOES NOT APPEAR. I can not go any further to try to fix this installation issue.

Am having the same problems in that the Norton 360 is installed, but when I try to open anything ... i.e. Clean ... the Norton icon appears in the dock bar for less than a second then disppears.

Sick of uninstalling and reinstalling Norton.

I have the same problem. Norton just keeps trying to install but stays in pending status. All permissions are granted in the security settings on my MBP so something is not compatible between Monterey and Norton. Why can't the Norton admin just post the configuration if it's compatible???

Re: Norton 360 won't install on new MacBook Pro with Monterey

I am on a Macbook Air.  I also have recently installed Monterey.  Norton would not open, so uninstalled Norton and reinstalled it.  It did install and I was able to open the Norton app; however, since then I've shut computer down.  Now I cannot open the Norton app again.  It bounces in the dock one time and then -- nothing.  What is the solution for this?  I've already uninstalled (with the Norton Remove tool) and reinstalled.

Is there any solution yet?

I have the same issue here, Norton 360 stopped working. Tried to reinstall it, the reinstallation completes and asks to restart the system, after system restart there is no sign of any Norton installation. I tried to restart multiple times, and reinstall multiple times but nothing seems to work so far.

System: Intel based iMac 24 inch from mid 2015 running latest version of Mac OS Monterey.

Having the same issue. Uninstalled because Norton’s was hanging up on Pending upon launch of the App, now, I can’t install it onto my computer at all. Site claims it is compatible with Apple’s latest OS and yet, it appears it is not? Unfortunate, I will be looking into alternatives to Norton and have since cancelled my auto renewal.

Same issues and pop-up "NEIKEv2Provider wants to sign using key "Norton" in your keychain." Won't go away.
