Norton is acting weird

I don't really need a solution, I'm just wondering if I've been hacked or something.

I got home from work yesterday, and looked at my computer. The Norton Dashboard was up on my laptop. I thought that was weird because I hadn't brought it up before I left from work. Then this morning I thought I had a certain link in my clipboard, but when I pasted it into my address bar, it was the link to the Norton password generator page. I have no idea what's going on. Is this something I need to worry about?

Hello jlinkes,

Would anyone else happen to be able to access this system at your current place of residence?

No I work in a high security office. I can't connect to the network from home. We can't even take our phones into the office. You sayings it's possible that some unauthorized person snuck into my system and played around with Norton for some reason? That's my biggest fear and that's why I'm asking the question

If your office has such high security, I would guess that you probably have an IT dept. Maybe ask them if they can check your system for any intrusions.

Things happen. Export/Backup your Norton Password Manager data.

Sorry, maybe i'm missing something here...

From the first post,

I got home from work yesterday, and looked at my computer...

However, then you start discussing your office situation?  The point i was trying to make (if the computer in question is situated at your home) perhaps your children are attempting to remove the Norton Security off of it?

Regards,

H.B.
