Product Announcement: Norton Security 22.23.4.6 for Windows is now available!
Norton AnitSpam Outlook Plugin is causing decreased performance with Outlook 2016. I get the message "Outlook detected a COM add-in problem". The average delay for the plugin is 15.81 seconds. The add-in is currently disabled. Is there a way of speeding up things?
Windows 10, Outlook 2016.

Hello Shaun. Check this setting in your Norton dashboard, go into Settings>Antispam>Client Integration tab. Click "Register Addin" just to the right of Outlook and ensure the Outlook slider is ON.

I followed the procedure and relaunched Outlook 2016. It still disabled the add-in.

Thanks for the feedback. I should have already asked what version of the Norton Product you have installed. The current version is 22.12.1.15. Give this suggestion a go. This should disable the add-in. https://support.symantec.com/en_US/article.TECH236942.html
Reboot your machine and run Outlook to recheck for the issue persisting. If it doesn't re-enable the add-in again, restart Outlook. Recheck once more. Outlook 2016 is compatible. https://support.norton.com/sp/en/us/home/current/solutions/v115546062_EndUserProfile_en_us
