Norton Antitrack

Can anyone verify what the latest version of Norton Antitrack is? I am getting a message in the Norton notification area that an update is available, but when I try to install it by downloading the latest version, rather than using the notification area update, it states it is already up to date. The version presently installed is 2.1.0.1691 which was installed today from the download. Can I trust the notification area messages, or is there a lag in Norton updating the new version?

Previous version – 2.1.0.1691  
Current version - 2.2.0.1880 

It just came out, so it might take some time before you get the update, it's not coming out for all users at the same time

You could try to delete the Anti Track extension from your browser and then re-install, it might take the new update like that but I'm not sure.

I had uninstalled Antitrack and reinstalled using the .exe file from the Norton site, but it was still the older version. There is a message in my message notification area that a new version is available. I'll use the notification message. It is just that it is getting to the point that you don't know what to trust.

I updated using the message in the notification area, but the version installed was  2.2.0.1886. I think it is ok.
