Norton AntiVirus 11 suggestion

I wish to suggest that when Norton AntiVirus for Macintosh cleans a virus, the log (View Recent Activities > Activity Log), and/or the dialog box that announces that the virus was cleaned, should display the name of the virus (not just the name of the file from which the virus was removed).  At the very least it should say whether it removed a Windows virus or a Mac virus.

Thank you.

Re: Norton AntiVirus 11 suggestion

Just to clarify, after testing with the EICAR test file, I found out that the activity log displays the type of item detected if the detection occurs during a manual scan.  But, it does not display the virus name if it is removed by AutoProtect.

It should display the type of item detected (e.g. Windows virus, Mac trojan, Word Macro virus, Mac keylogger, antivirus test file, et cetera) regardless of whether it was detected by a manual scan or by AutoProtect.
