Norton Core - Can't block previously allowed website(s)

I saw another thread on this subject that was marked resolved. It appeared to be resolved by the other poster resetting his/ her router to factory settings and going through the whole setup process again.

I had the same problem--it is a known issue. If you allow a website, you cannot delete this site from the list of allowed sites. Therefore, Norton Core will not allow you to block the site.

As with the other poster, the only way I was able to resolve was to factory reset my Core and set it up again. I am now able to add the website to the blocked sites.

Norton won't block access to the site but I'll save that for another post.

Re: Norton Core - Can't block previously allowed website(s)

Hello Jeff. In your app (I use Android) open "Security" then tap on "Manage Blocked Sites". Next tap on the device name that was allowed or blocked. Then go to the far right of the screen and swipe left. A small red trash can should appear there. Tap that icon and the allowed or blocked site should be removed from the applicable list.

Cheers

Re: Norton Core - Can't block previously allowed website(s)

Jeff the answer to this issue lies within this post in your other thread. My previous post was incorrect and I apologize. Open "settings" on the main app screen, then find the section named "Security". Tap and open it. On the next screen tap "Manage Blocked Sites". There should be two listings on the next screen labeled Allow and Block. In these listing you can go to the far right of each entry and swiped left, a red box will appear with a trash can. Tap it to remove the blocked or allowed site as applicable.

Cheers
