Norton Core - I am losing internet every 30 min

I got the Norton core last week, after changing from my Asus router I notice that I lose every 30 minutes one to two pings that making me  lose connection to the internet if I am playing a game or I am RDP to my computer or helping a family member with teamviewer it kicks me out, I took Norton core and add my Asus back and the internet does not get disconnected.

Re: Norton Core - I am losing internet every 30 min

Hi everyone, we've released an update for the iOS and Android mobile apps, version 1.20.2. This update includes QoS (Quality of Service), new functionality designed to improve the experience for gamers and those customers using VOIP.

QoS reduces the delay between receiving a packet and sending it on, but ONLY for the devices that are specified. To change this setting for a gaming or VOIP device, you'll need to select the device in the app, then turn on this setting (see screenshot for details).

If you've been experiencing lags in gaming, or drops in VOIP calls, please update your app, try this new feature for those gaming and VOIP devices connected to core, and let us know your results. If you still experience problems, we definitely want to know the details. Thanks for your help in making Norton Core the best it can be.

ED7779 Just an added note. The latest core firmware is also at v193. If you have the current version and are seeing the drops continue shake your phone that has the app for 2-3 seconds. It will prompt you to send logs from the Core to the team at Symantec for analysis. Make sure you add your forums username in the comments field so it will tag the logs to you.

Cheers
