NORTON CORE RANDOM REBOOT THREAD
Like many of the other Norton Core owners in this community, I have had problems with my Core from Day1.
Symantec employees and Norton product "volunteer experts" have responded to many threads with some helpful suggestions, but for the most part, Core owners have had to live with the misery of random disconnects and reboots since this product shipped. From my count, 4 firmware updates have been pushed to the Core product with varying results. But none have truly fixed the random reboot without notification issue. Factory resets, resetting attached devices, etc. I've personally submitted 17 logs from my reboots. All of these steps just a distraction from the fact that this product is BROKEN.
Safe to say, this product should never have been released in it's current state. AAANNNNND, just as I write this, ANOTHER REBOOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Symantec needs to do the right thing for the people who placed their faith is what was supposed to be, a finished product. Symantec needs to offer a full refund to all who request it, no questions asked. No questions need to be asked because the answer is the same, this product is BROKEN.
