Has anybody heard or seen a release date for the core as of yet?

I know that Norton have been asked to sort this out.

I am amazed. I just go off the phone with one of their reps and was told that all I need to do is wait and I will receive an email when they are ready to ship. I asked repeatedly and was told to simply wait. I asked when the email was to be sent and I was told, that all I need do is simply wait.

Support people cannot give you information they do not have.
Your comment is not well received. The support person was obviously reading a script written by some manager basically saying "I don't give a xxxx about our customers, they'll get their Norton product when Norton gets around to shipping it"
Support people should be given better information that is relevant and supportive. I'm not complaining about the support person but the company behind him.
This is truly crappy support.
I'm not sure what you want people to tell you. The reason you got that answer is that really no one here, or connected with Norton Support, knows when the device will be ready.
The only people that may know when the Core is going to ship, are no where near the front line support people. The support person you spoke with did not know when the item is going to ship, so they told you the information they have. That is you will have to wait for the email notification. Their 'script' just reflects the latest information they have been given by the departments involved with the development and shipping of the product. It is no reflection on what Norton thinks of its customers.

Has anyone received their core yet?
Yup, I received mine on Thursday and could not set it up properly as it requires mobile device only for access and setup. There is no Desktop or Web UI. I am returning it and I am waiting for RMA instructions by email.
