Norton crashing after using Search

After updating yesterday to 22.22.7.12, using 'Search' brings up results ; closing search crashes out Norton with no response with only the whirling waiting blue circle, app still on screen but slightly greyed out. clicking on app. brings up option of cancel or let recover, clicking latter brings up working edition again with search box already open waiting for input. Closes OK, 360 closes OK - only happens after results come up & try to close.

Had issue yesterday after update to 22.22.7.12, happened on 3 searches this morning. Nothing recorded in History - nothing recorded in Windows event Viewer.

Windows 10 Home, updated this morning to latest Patch Tues.

Received version 22.22.8.13 today - seems to have solved issue.

I can replicate the issue as well but getting event log error:

The program NortonSecurity.exe version 17.2.3.65 stopped interacting with Windows and was closed. To see if more information about the problem is available, check the problem history in the Security and Maintenance control panel.

No recorded incidents of Norton crashing either within Norton, event viewer or security & maintenance. Turned on old 8.1 laptop, expected to see MUI files for 22.22.7.11 or 12 had been download but none there. Did not a manual LUD just in case but MUI files always arrive during Auto LUD with a subsequent manual downloading engine & subsequent installation. Has it been pulled?

@mgirons , Thanks for letting us know , we are looking into it. This is a throttle release . Currently manual updates  for these two builds 22.22.7.11 & 22.22.7.12 are not available.

Gayathri_R - Did eventually get it thru another route - have not run yet - posting by jayamurugan.b (https://community.norton.com/en/forums/norton-crashing-after-using-search) has some significance ?. I don't normally use the function, although after each update run thru' most things to see if works, that's when it cropped up. The only 2 reports concern 22.22.7.12, no postings for people with 22.22.7.11 installed except those not liking the visual updating, system tray icons etc. Don't know if I can run the logger, looks a bit complicated for us oldie's.

Hello, I am somewhat confused about what is happening with the releases. 

It appears there are some back end issues with the product and am reluctant to download a product update that is not working properly.

What is the current release and what does this mean...."Currently manual updates  for these two builds 22.22.7.11 & 22.22.7.12 are not available."

Is there another release? 22.22.7.14?

installed 22.22.7.14 - search issue still persists. Strange thing is, after running manual LUD 3 times, no confirmation NGC product update. In Programmes & features recorded as installed 9th August (installed version 22.22.7.12) although records current version as 22.22.7.14, this does not usually appear until after confirmation received. About shows 22.22.7.14, check for new updates shows up to date. Had high hopes this update would solve problem. 'Engine' received in Automatic LUD's this morning so would have installed automatically on next boot/restart, ran manual update anyway and than ran Restart as usually as 'Patch Available'. Seem to remember, in the past, when there was just a 'tweak', the initial install date was recorded although with the updated version number being recorded so appears to be not be a 'full' update.

Kindly run the LIVEUPDATE untill you see no update available. Norton has release the patch to fix the search freezing error. Current Norton 360 version 22.22.8.13
