Norton does not like my code

I'm sure this is a common problem, but I have not found the right place to look.

I've written some code that I want other people to use, but Norton 360 puts it in quarantine. It does not detect any viruses but puts it there because people should not be downloading and running random software. How do I get my binary approved/blessed?

The only solution I'm looking for here is a pointer to the right place to look for information on how to do it.

Thanks

Joe

Re: Norton does not like my code

Yes, that is exactly what I was looking for. However, it sounds like I have to be a big corporation to even be considered for white listing. I'm just one guy writing some open source code that may never be used by more than 100 people. It is just a tool for a PBEM called Alamaze. The code is on GitHub https://github.com/scriptwizard99/AlamazeTurnParser with the binary being distributed via BinTray https://bintray.com/scriptwizard/generic/AlamazeTurnParser/view

Does Norton have a solution for tiny people like me?

Re: Norton does not like my code

Hi, Joe. You can still submit your code to Symantec for evaluation.
