I just tried to load the Norton Security 2018 5 Device product on my second computer. I get a Norton Download Manager error: Unable to continue 80047ec6, 80090326.
Any fix for this?
Hello, it sounds like another Norton product is being detected. This article explains how to correct the issue.
The error stated in the article is not the same wording as the one I got. This second device I was trying to install on had last years Norton Security on it as did the first device I installed on and the first device didn't produce this error.

If yes, please find and delete the previously downloaded Norton Download manager and try again. This could be due to previously downloaded copy of download manager on your computer.
today I have exactly the same error. What should I do?
Have you tried deleting old Norton Download manager and try with new download from Norton Account portal?
According to Norton support this is a "cannot connect to server error". I was following the printed instructions to load on my second device. But then I went back to the first device and did the "load on another device" instructions from there which sent a link out to my email and I used the email and link on my second device and it worked. Not sure why it did.
@Sunil_GA Yes, I did try that four times. And I did try installation over link from another PC - result the same: I have error. I tried to remove all with NRnR tool (even I have not installed Norton Security on this PC). But the problem is still existing.
Sorry for the trouble caused. Can you please try download and install Norton Security from Norton.com/latestnsbu and lest us know the installation status?
Sorry, Sunil, I am not sure what you are talking about. Following your link just opens Norton Home page - any /latestnsbu. When I signed in again, I see the same download link that I did use before.
I have the same problem. I tested Norton.com/latestnsbu and received: "network error" but installation had finished and Liveupdate was able to download up-to-date definitions .but processing of this definitions was not succesful. Never the less Norton Security has now status "Green".

Try this link. It is basically the same but includes the www. www.norton.com/latestnsbu That works in Chrome for my system.
https://norton.com/latestnsbu goes to a direct download file for me, IE 11.
Well, could be I am not true, but seems direct download is not available for Europe, at least from my country. Trying to open norton.com/latestnsbu I see ei.norton.com Home page :(
Did you try with the www. and/or the https:// prefixes as suggested by myself and SoulAsylum?

I used Firefox for download and it was OK. Now my Norton is "Green" and LiveUpdate was also successful.
