Why is the Driver Updater telling me I need new NVDIA drivers when Windows tells me I am Up to date?

windows and Nvidia are not the same this youtuber got a video on it Windows Update Replacing AMD Adrenalin Drivers? FIX it in 2 minutes! - YouTube but it also work on Nvidia

Hello Michael. DO NOT use that feature of Norton for any reason. There are already posts where machines are being borked because of the issues it is presenting. Its a BETA product at the present time. Rely on your OEM ( manufacturer ) of the hardware in your systems and Windows Updates for your drivers. Most hardware vendors work with Microsoft to develop drivers that are released with regular updates to keep your machines running.

Spot on SoulAsylum, the Norton Driver Updater bricked my PC and I had to reinstall Windows to fix it and Norton refused to accept any responsibility, very dodgy.

the guide i sendt is only so you dont get windows driver and then download the driver from amd ore Nvidias home site

The support tool is available under c:\Program Files\Norton\Driver Updater\

Please run the “SupportTool.exe” and follow the instructions. Once it is done, please send me the "ticket number" here via private message - so we can analyze the logs with your report on our server.
