Norton even needed for Mac?

Hi guys.

This is maybe a stupid question, but I have allways been told, that antivirus is unnessesary for Mac. My old MacBook Pro from '11 never had any problems, but my Lenovo y700 that I have now, keeps warning me about virusinfections that have been "cured"...

Re: Norton even needed for Mac?

Hello malthe As Mac OS is built on a Unix base and has built in "sand-box" attributes built in malware writers are indeed exploiting vulnerabilities Apple has thrown to the rear burner over the years. I recommend running A/V on all systems as an added layer of protection for your investment and data.
