Norton Family causing numerous apps to disappear on daughters' iPhone 6S handsets

I recently installed Norton Family on my daughters' iPhone 6S handsets running iOS 12.1.3, and Family works superbly.  Unfortunately, almost daily the icons of numerous apps--including Camera, iTunes, App Store, FaceTime, Google Photos, and other downloaded apps--disappear.  As suggested by a member in another thread, I removed Management and deleted my child's Family profile online.  I created a new profile and reinstalled everything, with Family running flawlessly, only to have the icons disappear again.

My young daughter explored on her own, and upon going to Settings --> General --> VPN, she reports VPN Configurations Status is Not Connected.  She toggles it on, and the icons reappear in a different location on her Home screens.

Does anyone have a suggestion as to how to resolve the disappearing icons dilemma? Thanks in advance.

Re: Norton Family causing numerous apps to disappear on daughters' iPhone 6S handsets

Hi John Endopax,

Time Supervision feature is enabled by default. As a result, apps will disappear when curfew starts and reappear when curfew ends. This is the how Time Supervision feature works in iOS.

Apps will get rearranged once they reappear after curfew. This is as per Apple’s design.

If you do not prefer apps to disappear at any given time, then please login to family.norton.com and disable the Time Supervision feature in House Rules.

Thanks,
Anand.

Thanks, Anand, for your quick reply.  I feel a little silly but it is good to know Norton Family is working well in all phases!  I have adjusted the hours in Time House Rules and will monitor.  I am confident this will resolve my issue.
