With Norton Family enabled, cannot browse any web sites

Hello,

      We have Norton Family installed on my son's laptop.  It has been working fine until today.  As of right now, he cannot browse any web sites while the Norton Family product is enabled.  If I log on to his laptop and disable it, he can browse fine, but obviously without the protections afforded by Norton Family.  I can log on to our account and see status information on this site, but the browsing seems to be affected.  Is there a current outage or some other issue?

It sounds like a compatibility issue.  Did you install any antivirus program(s) lately on the PC?  Please check out the link below for details:

The machine has been running Symantec Endpoint Protection 12 for longer than it has been running Norton Family. That's not the problem.

Can you please double check to see if you have any other security product(s) installed, they could get installed along with other software and you are not aware of.
