Norton Family Mobile flaw

Hi, I found that the filter has a major flaw, when a search is blocked, it still sits in the background and when you press the "recent tabs" button on the phone you can play around (on the galaxy phones ) and be able to see blocked content/videos by using a Samsung galaxy feature called popup view

please help

Hello Jonothan. On your device go to go settings, click advanced features, then toggle off pop-up view. Voila! The screenshot you posted is a different setting called multi-window. You should be able to disable that as well in system settings.

Cheers

Re: Norton Family Mobile flaw

thanks for response. i tried turning them off but was still able to use this trick, and also even it would work. that means he can toggle it off anytime (my son is the one who showed me the workaround) while trying other filters i saw that some don't have this problem and are able to block it even when you try to do this trick. but all filters have flaws, with Norton i came close to have a perfect protected device until my son showed me how easy he can access anything. i wish there can be a fix from Norton in a future uodate

Did you reboot the device?

Re: Norton Family Mobile flaw

Yes but didn't help, I found this problem on the galaxy s8 and s9, the entire web is literally open with just 2 taps on the screen

Re: Norton Family Mobile flaw

Disabling those two settings should take care of the issue. Give support a shot at looking at this issue. They should be able to address it.
