Norton Family not controlling/locking off Google Work profile apps on (android) cell

COncerning Norton Family: My son has a .edu google account through his school. To use this account (for Chrome, gmail, Google Meet, Google Classroom etc) we had to setup a Google Work profile on his cell. However Norton Family is not blocking/controlling these apps which appear under his Google Work Profile (these apps are designated by a little briefcase icon next to the regular icon for Gmail etc). If the curfew time is on, Norton Family will not allow him to use the regular apps, but unfortunately the Google Work apps, including Chrome escape its control and he can utilize these apps. 

Seeking your assistance, please.

Hi,

Work profiles provide platform-level separation of apps and data, giving organizations full control of the data, apps, and security policies within a work profile.

Though the apps in work profile show up in the same home screen (with briefcase icon), internally they work in totally independent area of the device.

As of today, Norton family does not support monitoring apps in different profile.

Hi, I just wanted to make sure that you completely understood my scenario, before I move on. The apps in question exist on the same home screen as all the other apps, but they are just designated differently (with the little briefcase icon next to it). He does not have to logout and login separately to use them. We just had to set them up differently (as noted on the original post), but they are used like every other app on the home screen. Looking forward to the follow up. Thanks.
