Norton Family sending alerts about blocked websites being visited but my teen denies ever going to any listed in the notifications.
I get these notifications everyday about 3 times a day mostly mentioning same websites that do not lead anywhere when I click on the links.
I uninstalled Norton Family and reinstalled it. Restarted iPhone 8 and deleted and re-added the Norton Family user profile.
This issue started about 2 weeks ago, before then it was working fine, sending true websites visited by my teen.
Norton Online chat agent does not know how to resolve the issue. Told me to live with it because Norton Family App was doing it's job.

Can you show the list of websites that are being alerted on?

Hi @carl w,
Web Supervision on Norton Family works with the help of the on-device VPN which would categorise, block and report URLs that are not only visited from any browser on the device, but also from the apps on the device and any url that is accessed by these apps in the background as well. A large chunk of the urls that have been reported to you, are embedded urls accessed in the background and might not be actual websites browsed.
We constantly update our backend to ignore such embedded urls. We will add these to the list.
