Norton Ghost vs. Norton Save and Restore

I'm looking for a backup/restore solution and these products seem rather similar. Am trying to understand the differences between them. Can someone compare them for me? Thanks in advance.

Re: Norton Ghost vs. Norton Save and Restore

Norton Save & Restore and Norton Ghost are very similar products. Norton Ghost 12.0 offers all the power of the Symantec Norton Save & Restore 2.0, with a few additional features. In addition to backing up everything on your computer - digital photos, family videos, key financial records, essential computer system files, and other data - Norton Ghost 12.0 also includes advanced features like Remote Management, Physical to Virtual image conversion, and LightsOut Recovery.

Norton Ghost 14.0 (the latest version, released 2008) has remote backup management, advanced compression and encryption, and conversion of physical disk images to virtual images for use with VMware and Microsoft Virtual PC.  If you're trying to decide between Norton Save & Restore 2.0 (released 2007) and Norton Ghost 14.0, I would recommend Norton Ghost 14.0.
