What device and Android OS version are you using?
Is there any error message when this happens?
Try clearing the app data for Norton Halt in the Android Settings - Apps. Then restart your device and test again.
Samsung Galaxy J3, Android 7.0 tried all of that, including removing and reinstalling Halt. No error message, app just stops and closes
I have a Samsung Tab A on Android 7.1.1, and my scan completes as it should. I'll see if I can get an answer on this for you.
